Blu Rice owners Derrick Smith, Deidra Smith and Rory Tsunezumi have brought together an outstanding team of restaurant professionals with over 100 combined years of restaurant experience. We wanted to stand out and bring a piece of culture and flavor that wasnt seen in Hawaii. Much of Hawaiis cuisine has been influenced by Japan, China, Polynesia, Korea, Puerto Rico and so on. We strive to deliver  distinct food flavors and concepts from across the ocean, served in tantalizing and visually appealing environments. Our southern inspired cuisine in its authenticity is more rare to Hawaii and inspires comfort and a taste of the south.
